New Look (more gooder)
Was looking at WordPress plugins and saw the automatic update. Got that running and upgraded the entire blog to the latest release of WordPress. Getting the release up allowed me to use some more plug ins and a better theme. Widget support was built in from the start which made setting up the blog a breeze. I also fixed some things here and there that were broken.I feel happy about this theme and I’ll use it for a while. I haven’t looked much at its accessibility yet. That will come later. I found most of the templates and CSS and it looks fairly straight forward for the most part.
New look
Spent some time looking for a theme. Not much works with the version of WordPress I’m using, so I searched online for WordPress 1.5 themes. Then I spent some more time and added a Latest Twitter hack. The thing that took the longest was remembering how everything works. Also, most plugs-ins run in WordPress 2.5. I suppose I could upgrade and put some widgets in and stuff but Yahoo was supposed to be doing that for me automattically. As a matter of principle, I’m waiting for that (but to be honest, I haven’t researched it in the least!)Later (wouldn’t you know), I discovered that the theme designer used fixed point font sizes!
